Ingredients:
For the gravy:
. 2 tablespoon ghee or vegetable oil
. 1 medium-size size onions, Finley chopped
. 2-3 garlic cloves, minced
. 1-inch piece of ginger, grated
. 2 medium-size size tomato, pureed
. 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
. 1 teaspoon turmeric leaves
. 1 teaspoon red chili powder
. 1 teaspoon coriander powder
. 1 teaspoon garam masala
. Salt to test
. 1/2 cups water
. Fresh coriander leaves for Garnishing
For the matter paneer:
. 250 gram paneer, cubes
. 1 cups green peas
. 1/2 cup milk or heavy cream ( for a richr gravy)
. 1 teaspoon kasuri methi
Instructions:
- Heat the ghee or oil in a pan on medium heat. Add the cumin seeds and let them sizzle for a few seconds until fragrant.
2. Add the finely chopped onion and saute until they turn golden brown. Add the minced garlic and grated ginger, and cook for another minute.
3. Now, add the tomato puree to the pan and cook until they raw smell disappears and the oil starts to separate from the mixture. This process may take around 5-7 minutes.
4. Reduce the heat to law and add the turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, garam masala, and salt . Mix well tand cook for 2 minutes, allowing the spices to blender together.
