For chola :

. 1 cup dried chickpeas (or to cans of cooked chickpeas)

. 2 medium-size onions, Finley chopped

. 2 tomatoes, pureed

. 2 teaspoons ginger- garlic paste

. 2 ginger chilies, slit lengthwise

. 1 teaspoons cumin seeds

. 1 teaspoons turmeric powder

. 1 teaspoons red chili powder

. 1 teaspoons coriander powder

. 1 teaspoons garom masala

. Salt to test

. Fresh coriander leaves for Garnishing

. Lemon wedges for serving

For kulcha:

. 2 cups all-purpose flour

. 1/2 teaspoons braking powder

. 1/2 teaspoons braking soda

. 1/2 teaspoons salt

. 1/2 cup plain yogurt

. 2 teaspoons oil

. Water (as needed)

. Butter or ghee for brushing

instructions:

1 . Soak the chickpeas :

. If using dried chickpeas, rinse them well and soak them overnight in water.

Alternatively, you can use canned chickpeas for a quicker version.
